Welcome to the home of Casmara Jack Russell Terriers. My name is Fran Kinnear & I am a Member of the Royal New South Wales Canine Council (now Dogs NSW), all of our Jacks are Australian National Kennel Council (ANKC) registered. I am also a member of the Canine Control Council Queensland (CCCQ), the Jack Russell Terrier Club of Qld and the Jack Russell Terrier Club of New South Wales.

My husband Jack & I have lived in this beautiful part of Australia since 1965. We are on the Southern end of the Gold Coast of Queensland, just south of the border in New South Wales, a five minute drive to Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta and a short one and a half hours drive to Brisbane. The Pacific Ocean can be seen from our window. Now that you are in the picture, let's talk about Jack Russells!

We have spent a lifetime with dogs and horses and our Jack Russells are VERY much loved family members. We do not have kennels as such.... the dogs are contained safely during the day in large areas in the house yard, where they have room to run and bark at the kookaburras and cockatoos! We have 4 acres of land with a creek and dams. The dogs are allowed a daily run on the property under my supervision, they all love to dive and swim in the creek and dams. At night they sleep safely indoors.

Our first Jack Russell “Ninja” (Jiky Jike Ninja) came to us in 1986. She marked the beginning of the long Jack Russell “Family Membership” list, and a wonderful association with these tenacious little terriers.

Ninja’s daughter “Aust CH Casmara/JR Lipstick” born 15.02.89 was retained and became our first homebred Champion.

I have now bred down to the 8th generation from Ninja. Aust CH Casmara/JR Marlena, pictured on this page, is the Great-great-great Grandaughter of Ninja. Marlena's wins at the Royal in Brisbane 2003, aged 8 and a half months, brought us great joy and pride. Casmara has bred and owned 18 Australian Champions. As well as showing, our dogs enjoy Jack Russell Lure Racing, Hunting, helping Dad down in the paddock and most important of all, just being loved family members.
